Share your knowledge on health and climate change in the UK with millions! We need experts in health and climate change to help us create a new Wikipedia article titled "Health effects of climate change in the UK". Wikipedia is read 22 billion times a month. It’s one of the biggest sources of information on climate change in the world. It is also the first - and often only - place most people go for health information. What readers find there matters. Contributing to Wikipedia offers a great opportunity to use an effective platform to mobilise evidence-based information, research and expert knowledge in an accessible way for a wider audience all around the world. About this event In the workshop we will improve publicly available knowledge by creating a high-quality Wikipedia article at the intersection of the climate crisis and health research. There are 3 workshop events in November (Wednesday the 6th, Tuesday the 12th and Thursday the 21st). You can attend as many as you wish, but you DO NOT need to attend all 3. Each workshop will be 1 hour long and take place on Zoom. No previous experience regarding Wikipedia is necessary as you will not be editing Wikipedia directly. Instead, we will collaboratively edit a simple Google doc . The resulting article will then be created on Wikipedia by the organisers.
